Paramount Motors, the sole authorised distributor for MG Motor in Nepal, has commenced the bookings of the 2021 MG Hector SUV. The 2021 MG Hector can be booked through the company's dealerships across the country.The Manufactured-in-India Hector will initially be available in the 'Shine' variant in two gearbox options -manual and automatic. As far as the prices are concerned, the MG Hector will likely be priced between Rs 60 Lakh- Rs 70 Lakh. The Shine is essentially a new mid-spec variant of the Hector that sits between the low- and top-spec trims of the midsize SUV in the Indian market.
The Hector will be powered by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid motor delivering 141 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. While a 6-speed manual transmission is a standard option across the range, the Hector-Shine model will also be offered with a 7-speed DCT.The midsize SUV is expected to offer a single-pane sunroof, 360-degree camera, 17-inch alloy wheels, 10.4-inch HD touchscreen AVN system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, electric parking brake, push-button start/stop, and smart entry, among others.
